Forneaus and Kokerel request that they be discharged from a demand for £20 by a recognisance to Despenser as Despenser imprisoned them in the Tower until they made the recognisance

The petition dates to 1331 as Furness was pardoned £20 on 20 August 1331, and Cockerel was discharged from the payment of a rather larger sum of £100 on 15 October 1331, though both sums had been extorted by Despenser (CPR 1330-4, p.90; CCR 1330-3, p.269).
