Nature of request
The burgesses state that the town was burnt in the last war by Grey's order to preserve the castle, and the king ordered an enquiry for the damages which were assessed at £300 or more, but nothing has been done.
Nature of endorsement
[On face].They should sue to Reginald de Grey that he should send the inquisition that was taken etc.[On dorse, none].
