Nature of request
Fyvele requests remedy and the restoration of a messuage and goods and chattels taken into the king's hand because her husband was found culpable for a robbery, claimed benefit of clergy, and died in prison before he could be delivered. This was done though she was jointly enfeoffed in the messuage with her late husband.
Nature of endorsement
It is ordered to the bailiffs of Scarborough that they certify the king in Chancery of the truth of the matters contained in the petition, and if the petitioner was jointly enfeoffed, then when the king has been certified let justice be done to the petitioner concerning the messuage.
