[The petition is damaged and much of the petition is obscured].The abbot requests remedy as he holds the hundred of Salmonsbury but the people of Lower Swell make suit to the hundred of Kiftsgate.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ returnable into Chancery to the sheriff to enquire if the vill of Lower Swell pertains to the hundred of Salmonsbury or not, and to take an inquisition upon this, and when it is retuned let what ought to be done be done.
