Note
This document is clearly a plaint from a general eyre, and presumably (given the reference to events of Trinity in 20 Edward I) a stray plaint from the Staffordshire eyre of 1293, the other plaints for which are now in JUST 1/1553 (with further strays elsewhere). The eyre took place between 7 and 22 January 1293 in Lichfield, and 27 January and 25 February 1293 in Stafford (D. Crook, Records of the General Eyre, p.176).
