The petitioners request observation of their right to take fines and amercements and chattels of felons and fugitives within their liberty, which has been challenged in the Exchequer in the case of the chattels of Thomas de Weylaund, and others.
Nature of endorsement
The chancellor is to issue a writ to the treasurer and barons of the exchequer to allow this case.

The petition is transcribed in a bundle relating to 1321-22 in Rot. Parl., I, p. 407; the disgrace and confiscation of the king's justice Thomas Weyland had occurred a good deal earlier, in 1289.
