The guard date suggests a date of? 1312 by reference to SC 8/318/E331 and SC 8/327/E823. However, there appears to be no firm evidence to support this dating for either of these petitions, so that a date of c. 1307 has been adopted as the petition is clearly in the earlier part of Edward II's reign.
