The petitioners seek release from tenths and other demands made on the benefices of cardinals.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be put before the chancellor and treasurer and they will know what to do with the request.
Note
The petition is of uncertain date and is assigned to the second and third quarters of the fourteenth century on the basis of the hand and the use of French in the endorsement (rare before 1322).
