Esturmy and Kingston, for the king as well as themselves, complain that Colston and Raynewell have prevented them from conducting the king's business on the continent by harassing their servant, van Covour (an alien who does not know the law of England), and request that Colston and Raynewell come before parliament to answer upon the matter.
Nature of endorsement
Because van Covour is an alien and came to England under the king's protection he should be freed and exempt from prosecution.
