Prior and convent of the Holy Trinity, York.
Nature of request
The petitioners request a writ under the privy seal to the sheriff of Yorkshire to inquire into the rights they claim to have held since the time of Henry II to a tenth of the profits of the mills in the castle at York, now claimed by Skotherskelf and Topclif.
Nature of endorsement
Let it await the arrival of Master Robert Baldock when an inquiry will be made; the king will then have his will on the matter.
