Nature of request
The king's people of Dyffryn Clwyd request guarantee of their rights, and offer 600 marks over six years in return for his good lordship.
Nature of endorsement
Because the lands are in the king's hands after the death of John de Grey, the king cannot do justice to the tenants in the manner of the petition, until he has delivered the lands to he who has right to them. After the king has delivered the lands, the tenants may ask again and the king will do justice.
