Nature of request
Lady Despenser requests that the justices of the common bench be commanded to proceed in her suit against the bishop of London as the law suffers notwithstanding the suit of Hugh de Cottingham made in the present parliament which is against the judgement rendered in the court of the king and to the damage of all lords and commons of the realm. She has brought a suit in the common bench against the bishop of London on a writ of quare non admissit for the church of All Saints [...] of London and Cottingham, incumbent of the church has sued at the present parliament by bill to retain the church against recovery by the petitioner then being sued.
