- The Bishop requests remedy in that he has exemption by charter that neither he nor his tenants should answer in any pleas except before the king's justice, specially assigned to the bishopric, yet the sheriff of Carmarthen has taken an assize in a plea of free force on the land of the bishop against the exemption and in prejudice of the bishop and the liberty of the church of St David.
