- Dated by Rees, Petitions Relating to Wales, p. 164, to the reign of Edward II, but without precise context; suggested here, on the basis of the hand, as belonging to the first quarter of the fourteenth century; it is possible that this petition and SC 8/106/5271 were submitted on the same occasion.
