The petitioners, brothers show that they charged a ship at Malaga with figs, almonds and raisons in a ship of Santander or which John de Fotz was master, and whilst it was before Sandwich waiting to enter the port James Bataille and John Shipman came is their ships and boarded the merchant's ship and assaulted those aboard and took it to Winchelsea and divided the cargo. The merchants request remedy and that they be restored to the value of their goods with damages according to the discretion of the king and his council.
