Commonalty of the county of Dorset.

King and council.
Nature of request
The petitioners seek payment for goods taken from them by purveyance by the Whitfield, the late sheriff. Whitfield was ordered to make purveyance of quantities of wheat, hay and bacon, without making payment, and sold some and kept the money without making account.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be sent to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer, and let them be ordered that they call before them those that ought to be called and do right.
