The petitioner asks for a remedy and he states that Frampton Priory is a cell appurtenant to the house of St Stephen's, Caen, with certain lands and tenements in the parish of Bruton that were seized by the king during the war, and which have been leased for ... years to the bishop of Worcester, who has not paid his tithes for the said lands and has threatened the petitioner with prison, for which the petitioner is unable to have a remedy through law or any other way.
