- The petitioner seeks wardship and marriage of certain heirs taken through forfeiture. He shows that he is lord of the barony of Coldingham, in which there are many lands of free tenants of the prior taken into the king's hands by forfeiture in the Scottish war, which lands the king granted to the petitioner. Then the sheriff of Berwickshire seized some persons as heirs of some who forfeited, some not free, and others within age, of whom the petitioner has the right to their wardship and marriage.
