Master and Scholars of Pembroke Hall, Cambridge.

Nature of request
The petitioners seek consideration of the provisions of a certain bill presented in the parliament held at Westminster in 1450-1, and that provisions be made in the following form: that the act should not prejudice any grant made to the petitioners by the king of the alien priory of Linton along with the advowson of the vicarage of the same, nor any grant made by the king to them of a certain pension for Soham Church. They state that the livelihood of Pembroke Hall is greatly wasted by the sea and that the king should grant them the alien priory of Linton and also a pension of 43 marks.
