Nature of request
The petitioners seek an order in this parliament for their profit, and consideration of all matters sealed in the bill added to this petition, and an order that one or two sergeants-at-arms make secure exchange in the king's presence in this present parliament of a poor subject written within for proof of the truth of all the said matters, considering that none of the lords in the realm except the king order due remedy and execution of the said matters as the archbishop, as appears on record that it is against the law that some accusations have hindered some loyal subjects by eleven years of their answer etc.
