Nature of request
The petitioners ask to be allowed to take the prise of wines in the ports of Youghal and Kinsale, because merchants are landing wine there to avoid payment at Cork. They show that they hold the city at fee farm, and pay the farm from the prises of wines brought into their port by ships.
Nature of endorsement
An order to the chancellor and treasurer of Ireland that he inspects his charter and hears this complaint and makes as for the king as for them, as he sees it is to be done.Coram Rege.
