Nature of request
Copy of a writ of subpoena to the mayor and bailiffs of Cambridge to answer a parliamentary petition by the chancellor and scholars of the university and to make final agreement on all the matters contained therein etc., on pain of £100 for non-attendance, on Saturday next in the presence of king and council in parliament, with instruments and information touching the matters contained in the said petition etc.
