Nature of request
The petitioner by right and reason seeks recovery of various produce and discharge from a certain debt. He states that he pledged the then Prior Seuteler to pay the king's farm and charges due at Michaelmas 1377 for the prior, of all the rents and charges due from the said manor, when by the king's patent Apoldrefeld took the farm together with all the charges of the same, such that at the same time the petitioner was discharged. Afterwards in parliament, various legal decisions were granted and Apoldrefeld seized and still holds 40 quarters of wheat and 100 quarters of barley, etc., worth £8, and horses worth £12.
