Chancellor and Scholars of Cambridge University.

Nature of request
The petitioners ask the present parliament to order final remedy for their injuries. They show that they sued a petition to the last parliament concerning certain of their grievances (and those of their servants), of indictments made against them in the said town before various judges, which petition was answered as follows: that neither the petitioners nor their servants are to be impeached, attached, taken, molested etc., by colour of any manner of presentment or indictment by any of the people of Cambridge, of felonies, trespasses, or imprisonments, or be brought before any of the town's officers etc., until the next parliament, and that they (and their servants) have writs for their necessities in the meantime.
Nature of endorsement
The king wills by the agreement of his council in this parliament that the petitioners have a similar grant until the next parliament.
