The petitioner asks for consideration in the present parliament of pledges and his long service to the king's father at Le Touquet in Normandy in times past, and grant him 12d each day for his lifetime as his other companions in the same office. He states that the king grants each of his sergeants-at-arms each year 12d per day, except the petitioner.
