The petitioners seek the enforcement of the first statute of Westminster that no clerk of the justices, nor of any other of the king's ministers, maintain quarrels or take sides in the king's courts, nor deceive or delay justice, nor that clerks of the justices of the common bench commune with attorneys and maintainers of factions so that right is delayed by them.
