Nature of request
The petitioner asks for a writ in chancery against the current prior of Carlisle and sixteen years worth of profits from lands seized into the wardship of the [previous] prior. He shows that he held his lands in socage and not by the service that gives wardship, which the aforesaid prior took for sixteen years. When the petitioner came of age he wished to purchase a writ of account against the said prior, and before he could obtain it the prior died and he could not have a writ in chancery against his successor.1)
Nature of endorsement
At the end of parliament before all the justices and they are to provide and arrange for a certain remedy.2) It is agreed by the council that he is to have writ of account against the successor of the prior who had the wardship.
