The petitioner seeks recovery of the Isle of Man and all the other islands of the Bishopric of Man, in right of her uncle, Magnus Fitz Aunule, late King of Man, who died seised of Man and the other islands. The Bishop of Durham holds and wrongfully detains Man, and the other islands are in the king's hands.1)
