The Master and Brothers of St Nicholas's Hospital without Carlisle.

Nature of request
The petitioners ask for the king's aid and timber in Inglewood Forest to build dwellings and enclose their hospital, which has been destroyed and burnt by the Scots and will never return to its previous position without the king's assistance, and they state that the advowson of their hospital belongs to the king.1)

Coram Rege.2) For the Master and Brothers of the Hospital of St Nicholas without Carlisle.3) Let them have ten oaks of the king's gift.
