Walter le Chasteleyn states that fifteen days after Michaelmas two years ago, when Lambert le Faukuner, his brother, was going to Fulham with the King's gerfalcons, he was lured into a house by Robert de Wandene, and set upon by Robert and by John his son; he raised the hue and cry and help came, but he was wounded, and died shortly afterwards. Walter requests an inquiry by good people of the country.
