Nature of request
John de Cusak asks the King, in compensation for the great service that he and his father have done for the King and his father, and their losses in that service, that he might have the first escheat of 100 marks of land that comes to the King.
Nature of endorsement
It seems to the council, if it please the King, that John and his heirs should be given 50 marks of land at the true value from forfeitures of war in Ireland, to have for himself and his heirs, especially as he was at the battle where Edward de Brus was killed.
