Hugh de Castelford states that, as he was coming from overseas with cloth and other goods and merchandise on the Sunday before St Dunstan [19 May], he was attacked off Sandwich by Gervase Alard, Richard Ewyn, Richard Prat and Nicholas Caboche, who carried off his goods and merchandise and still hold them. He requests a remedy.
