Nature of request
Adam de Cusak states that he has served the King in Ireland and Scotland, and was present when Edward de Brus, the King's enemy, was killed, and that he has lost two good horses, his armour, and his other goods and chattels in the King's service. In consideration of this, he requests the office of Constable of Drogheda castle.
Nature of endorsement
The King has sent Roger de Mortimer to Ireland to guard his land there, without whose advice the King does not want any minister to be changed.
