Robert Conyers states that he has been ruined by the Scots, and requests that he might be aided either by forfeited lands, or by redemptions of forfeitures or by some other grace, as he served the King in York against the rebels to the best of his ability, refusing to be part of the rebellion, and because of this his tenants were robbed and he himself threatened with death.
