- The commons state that lately in the time of the uprising various injuries and trespasses were committed against various people, and that since then those who suffered these injuries have forced people, by threats and false imprisonment, to make fines and redemptions with them, ruining them by these extortions, although these people are not guilty of anything. They ask the King and council to ordain a remedy, restitution and recovery for them in this present parliament, and that those who have committed such oppressions and extortions might be summoned before the King and council and punished in such a way as to prevent future crimes of this kind.
