- Robert de Colville, chaplain, states that his uncle, Stephen de Colville, held certain tenements in Corndall in Hampshire for term of life, but that he sold them to John de Westcote: wrongly, as he only held them for term of life. After Stephen's death these tenements ought to have come to Robert as kinsman and heir, but John de Westcote's son John, who is in the King's keeping, has challenged this, wrongly, and the King holds the tenements in his hand as John's escheat. Robert asks that he might be able to have his inheritance.
