Richard de Cokefeld, one of the tenants of the lands that belonged to Simon de Cokefeld, formerly executor of the testament of William Passelewe, and of the lands that belonged to Simon de Cokefeld, knight, asks that a sum he is owed by the King's father, from the time when Roger de Northburgh, Bishop of Chester, was Keeper of the Wardrobe, might be allowed against the money that is demanded of him by summons of the Exchequer for various sums owed by the two Simons.

From the reference to debts owed by the King's father, this would seem to come from the early years of Edward III. Roger de Northburgh was Keeper of the Wardrobe between 1 February 1316 and 1 May 1322.
