Nature of request
Inquisition held at Bristol on the Tuesday before the Annunciation, 5 Edward III [March 1331], finding that it would not be to the King's harm or prejudice, or to that of anyone else, and would not lead to a reduction in the farm of Gloucestershire, if the King permitted the burgesses of Bristol to have view of frankpledge in their city and suburb; and that they have had view of frankpledge from time immemorial.
