Nature of request
The brothers of St Lazarus state that at the last parliament after Hilary they released the arrears of a sum of 40 marks annually, paid to them by the King, in exchange for the Hospital of St Giles outside London: the charter for the 40 marks was to be exchanged for the charter of St Giles at this Easter parliament. They request the charter, and also a writ to Henry de Durem, Warden of the Hospital of St Giles, who is keeping them out of their seisin.
