- Robert de Franx, citizen of Bordeaux, states that at the start of the war he entrusted some money he had in England to Monin le Gangeor of St Vis. And because there were some concerns about Monin's fidelity, on account of his being a Fleming, Robert's friends (he was in the King of France's prison for ten years) handed over the money to the Treasurer. He asks that the Book of the Treasury might be searched for records of this, and, if it is found to be so, that he might be paid his money.

- It is answered that he will have a writ of Chancery to the Treasurer and to the Chamberlain of the Exchequer, to search for these things; and if they find that it is so, they are to assign payment to him.
