- John de Bowat states that while he was trading in England, certain people occupied his possessions in Entre-deux-mers, wrongly and without judgment. He asks that the Seneschal of Gascony and the Provost of Entre-deux-mers might be ordered to return him to possession of these things, stating that he is ready to stand to right against anyone making any claim against him.
