The petitioners complain that they have been attacked, seized, imprisoned, maltreated, menaced and put to ransom by Roger Bolde and others. They ask the commons to ask the King that they might individually have writs of proclamation to the Sheriff of Derbyshire, as there is no county court in Lancashire, to make solemn proclamation that Roger Bolde, Nicholas Tynker, Henry of Par', Thomas Tonge, and Hugh Cartwright are to appear before the King's Bench to answer accusations, both for the King and for the petitioners.
