[This petition is badly damaged.]Geoffrey de Bolestrode complains that his lands and tenements in Chalfont St Peter have unjustly been given to the Abbess of Burnham, and that an order has been given to attach him because he resisted this. He encloses transcripts of various writs pertaining to the matter, and requests his lands back.

Note
The writ ordering that Geoffrey de Bulstrode be attached (SC 8/95/4739J) is dated 29 September, 5 Edward III (1331), and would seem to be the one that the petitioner is complaining about here, so this petition would seem to date from around that time.
