Richard de Bourne.

Richard de Bourne states that he leased the manor of Chessel in Hampshire to Henry Trenchard, to hold at his pleasure, but, because Henry then leased it to Henry le Tyeys for term of life of Henry Trenchard, Richard entered the manor and expelled Henry le Tyeys. He was then seised of the manor until John de Everdon and John de Denom, justices appointed to hear and determine certain trespasses committed by Henry le Tyeys and his people, seized it into the King's hand, without warrant. He requests a remedy.

Places mentioned
Chessel, Hampshire.
People mentioned
Henry Trenchard
Henry le Tyeys

Note
Henry le Tyeys was among those forfeited in 1322, and it seems likely that this petition dates from after his fall but before the death of Edward II.
