- Marmaduke de Bylton states that he has served the King and his father in their wars in Scotland for nineteen years, and requests payment of a sum of £119 11s. 7d. owed to him for arrears of his wages and for compensation for loss of his horses.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- There is an order to pay the petitioner for a debt owed to him, dated 27 January 1331, in CCR 1330-3 p.206: although this is a different sum, it suggests that the petition's reference to 'the king and his father' are more probably references to Edward III and Edward II; the petition is therefore assigned to the early years of Edward III.
