Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to '? c. 1324' with no further explanation. This would certainly seem to fit the hand and the French endorsement, but there does not seem to be much evidence to connect all the petitions transcribed in PRO 31/7/99 with this year.This petition was originally the second (or later) in a sequence: the first seems to have been SC 8/95/4714. It was clearly detached at the time of petitioning, as it has been altered in a contemporary hand to allow it to stand alone.
