- The Prior and convent of Bury St Edmunds state that their judgment in a case to prove that certain lands and tenements were bought purely for augmentation of their portion, and without any profit or increase for their abbot, has been delayed and put off for three years. They ask that the matter might be determined in the present parliament, in the presence of the Justices and of the Chief Baron of the Exchequer, or to order the Chancellor, Treasurer and Keeper of the Privy Seal to determine it with the chief Justices and the Chief Baron of the Exchequer.
