Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to c. 1322 as the forfeiture of Aldham occurred as a result of the revolt of Thomas of Lancaster, and Pancius de Controne, or Fynysien as he appears in the petition, was granted manors forfeited by Aldham in Somerset and Sussex on 2 July 1322 (CFR 1319-27, p.137).
