[Only part of the original petition survives.]Beek requests that the commons request that the kings with the assent of the lords spiritual and temporal confirm the perpetual chantry established by Henry atte Rothe in 1348 and that the rent to pay for the perpetual priest saying mass daily there be paid as Richard Parson, the tenant of the land has refused to pay the rent, and since the death of the last chantry priest the chantry has remained empty.
