Name(s)
Bokelond (Buckland); Cappes; Wilde (Wild), William; Robert; Thomas
Addressees
Commons of the present parliament.
Nature of request
Bokelow and the other petitioners request that the commons request that the king with the assent of the lords will grant that a certain indictment and all processes whereby they were indicted of high treason be void as they were wrongly indicted by a commission held in 25 Henry VI, and that all other grants, sureties, releases and acquittances that they made in this matter also be void.
Nature of endorsement

Deptford, Kent.
People mentioned
Humphrey [of Lancaster], Duke of Gloucester
William de la Pole, Marquis of Suffolk
John Norreys, squire of the body of [king].
Note
The petition is dated to c. 1450 as although the petition clearly refers to events in July 1447, it is clear that the petition was presented after the fall of the Marquis of Suffolk in 1450. It is unlikely to be too long after this.
